Early champion an innovator of mobile health solutions that empower the consumer public.
collaboration, sharing of connections- I have found that more than money, I need 'door openers'.
I have been a presenter at two health 2.0 conferences, and released our first mobile solution at the October 2009 conference. We have sought collaboration but found the attendees were primarily larger, more established companies with little interest in such partnerships. Hoping the NY group grasps innovation regardless of whether parties are ["credentialed"] physicians or not.
I'm founder, CEO, of ScanAvert. Our award-winning, patented mobile app/service delivers product compatibility and suggested substitutes to subscribers based on profile, including prescriptions, dietary restrictions, illness, allergy, limits in allowances, etc. My role includes marketing, patent creation/enforcement, channel sales/partners, mobile and service enhancement, fund raising, hiring, licensing/ revenue share agreements.
Our main goal is to collaborate on building a social network so individuals with common issues, can share experience, recommendations, etc. & connect with one another- Improved quality of life can serve as motivation in adopting healthier habits -we stakeholders should promote this effort. In addition, we seek to license the comprehensive data we collect to a variety of disciplines as follows: Pharma/Rx clients: to determine which consumable substances enhance or impede prescription and treatment performance. Health clients: Health insurers- to reward subscriber's practice of healthy habits. Health facilities, Municipalities-local and federal gov programs: to predict/estimate future prescription, medical specialty needs/costs. CPG manufacturers: to assess unmet need when allocating R & D resources to food, beverage and health products and the ability to target offers/promotions with precision based on health/dietary need.
