I've helped a few dozen medical device and health care organizations organize market development initiatives through innovative marketing and physician engagement.

What is your company and what do they do. What is your role there?

Healthcare Marketing Center of Excellence is a market development strategy agency that helps organizations develop better techniques for adoption of their technologies. We also help private and group practitioners develop marketing campaigns to attract patients for their top areas of expertise.

What are your goals for joining this group and how can we help you achieve them?

This group is dedicated to advancing innovations that focus on improving patient care with the active involvement of Patients, Physicians, Nurses, Administrators, Engineers, and even Lawyers. If your interest is in improving the practice and performance of medicine, than this is the meetup for you.

Borne of the Health 2.0 international movement, Eugene Borukovich started the NYC chapter in 2008. Our chapter has since grown to become the largest healthcare innovation focused meetup in the world, running events that focus on specific topics such as the impact of social media in Healthcare or our Startup pitch contest called "Pitch Yourself into the Shark Tank." The investments, partnerships and collaborations that have come from this meetup are myriad, as we purposely foster the genesis, growth and development of innovative technology companies. A few of the companies that have presented: Phreesia, Zweena, ZocDoc, HelloHealth, YourNurseIsOn, DrChrono, ComScore, HealthLeap, MyHealthExperience, Healthrageous, WellApps, and a few dozen others.

Be like me, come with an idea, leave with a company. I run this group as my way of saying thanks for helping my concept get from the drawing board to over 250,000 searches for care and the attention of Patients, Physicians, Hospitals, Employers, and VCs across the country with our new healthcare marketplace.

...but this isn't about me, it is what over 1,250 healthcare innovators can do for healthcare.
