Hi Murray, Thank you for you interest in my meet up group. Unfotunately the group is intended for female breast cancer patients, survivors and female family members only at this time. I apologize if this was not clear in my original write-up. We will be discsussing personal issues which some members may find uncomfortable with males present. I plan to involve male family members at a later date.

Borne of the Health 2.0 international movement, Eugene Borukovich started the NYC chapter in 2008. Our chapter has since grown to become the largest healthcare innovation focused meetup in the world, running events that focus on specific topics such as the impact of social media in Healthcare or our Startup pitch contest called "Pitch Yourself into the Shark Tank." The investments, partnerships and collaborations that have come from this meetup are myriad, as we purposely foster the genesis, growth and development of innovative technology companies. A few of the companies that have presented: Phreesia, Zweena, ZocDoc, HelloHealth, YourNurseIsOn, DrChrono, ComScore, HealthLeap, MyHealthExperience, Healthrageous, WellApps, and a few dozen others.

Be like me, come with an idea, leave with a company. I run this group as my way of saying thanks for helping my concept get from the drawing board to over 250,000 searches for care and the attention of Patients, Physicians, Hospitals, Employers, and VCs across the country with our new healthcare marketplace.
