Happy New Year everyone! We are looking forward to a great 2010 - this is YOUR meetup so please speak up and contact myself of Lynn with any suggestions for topics, presenters or improvements in how the meetups are organized. As most of you have seen, ONC has published "interim final" rules for meaningful use. By 2015, according to the ruling, we will start focusing on "patient access to self management tools, access to comprehensive patient data
and improving population health". Next few years will be exciting times for the healthcare ecosystem and our meetup is in the epicenter of these discussions so RSVP now
January meetup (RSVP) is dedicated to " enabling better care by enabling clinical staff" and we have just the presenters for that.
January 2010 Presenters:

Your Nurse Is On was developed in 2000 by a trained Family Nurse Practitioner in response to the inefficient relief staffing procedures found in healthcare today. With today's challenging environment of cost savings and instant communications it became apparent that calling replacement staff one at a time was no longer an adequate solution.
